CASHEW KERNELS
Cashew kernels shall have been obtained through roasting, shelling and peeling cashew nuts. Cashew nuts, like all nuts, are an excellent source of protein and fiber. They are rich in mono-unsaturated fat which may help protect the heart. Cashew nuts are also a good source of potassium, B vitamins and foliate. They contain useful amounts of magnesium, phosphorous, selenium and copper.

Kernels shall be completely free from infestation, insect damages, mould, rancidity, adhering and objectionable extraneous matter. Strapped and partially shriveled kernels also permitted provided such scraping/shriveling does not affect the characteristic shape of the kernel.
